Frequently Asked Questions
-
Current foundations and businesses operate along specific sectors.
The resulting divisive and competitive environment leads to excessive planetary burdens and hinders well-being. What we witness a collection of institutions, programs and organizations that operate into silos. Each discipline pushing for its own direction. Further, a growing number of individuals struggle to find their sense of belonging in society and feel less and less connected with each other.
The covid-19 Pandemic has unmasked and amplified this dividedness, which is often strongly linked to self-referential way of thinking and acting. This is both an obstacle to systemic change and a vector to increase inequalities and the already unbalanced relationship between humans and nature.

Inspired by the unifying strength of nature, we believe intersectoral and collaborative approaches are the future of sustainable public utility.
We provide a network of people that are committed and guided by a shared vision. Through the diversity of our members and collective intelligence, we support and co-create social impact projects that focus on the promotion of the wellbeing of the planet and its inhabitants. Our projects aim at tearing down walls between generations, sectors and nations through the restoration of a sense of belonging.
We strongly believe that a negotiated project design increases common interests and act as a de-risking factor, resulting in better project quality at a reduced cost.

The experience shows that monitoring levels of satisfaction of who is in a way or another involved with the project, is a powerful tool for both ex-post analysis as well as for strategic guidance of projects.
In line with our scope, vision and mission, we use a highly dynamic model of **Monitoring & Evaluating & Learning (M&E&L) that becomes part of the cycle of change itself.
-
This innovative approach, based on constant visual and tangible monitoring of the activities on the ground, guarantees a pro-active follow-up of activities since the moment of conception through an interactive multimedia proposal and application. We will create a visualization tool as well as experience chapters that will be accompanied by strategic analysis in order to reinforce creativity and peer learning throughout the process.
The sharing of experiences in a visual and concrete way, allows the Management to systemize and capitalize its activities into a new standard to facilitate a strong connection between the different realities involved in the transformative process. In that sense, Blue Arbor will proactively capitalize experiences and share knowledge with other peer institutions, academia and others in order to develop interventions at meso and macro levels possibly converging into movements of change.
